Reservations & Events Manager

About the role

Park Hotel Kenmare is seeking a highly motivated Reservations & Events Manager to lead its reservations operations and coordinate luxury events. The role blends revenue optimisation with exceptional guest service, ensuring every booking and function reflects the hotel’s distinguished brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the reservations department, handling enquiries via phone, email and online channels.
• Manage room inventory in partnership with Front Office and Sales to maximise occupancy and direct bookings.
• Perform daily arrival checks, verify guest profiles, payment details and special requirements.
• Administer the Guestline Property Management System, loading rates, packages and promotional pricing.
• Upsell hotel facilities and services, maintaining accurate reservation records and compliance with policies.
• Build and nurture relationships with VIP guests, travel advisors, corporate clients and booking partners.
• Train and mentor reservations and reception staff to reduce cancellations and no‑shows.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver luxury events such as weddings, private functions, corporate meetings and gala dinners.
