Revenue Manager – Trade Optimiser

About the role

Stena Line is looking for a Revenue Manager (Trade Optimiser) to maximise revenue on its Irish Sea South routes, covering Dublin and Rosslare. The role combines analytical forecasting, fare optimisation and capacity allocation across freight and travel streams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse demand, forecast trends and adjust fares for freight and travel to maximise revenue.
• Utilise the revenue management system to optimise capacity allocations and daily price levels per departure.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term revenue strategies and support timetable scheduling.
• Monitor booking flow, market dynamics, competition and business mix, reporting insights to senior management.
• Allocate ship capacities, manage passenger, cabin and car‑deck inventories, and oversee freight customer capacity.
• Compile statistics, identify problems and opportunities, and recommend actions.
• Track competitor pricing and identify revenue opportunities.
• Conduct data collection within the Stena Line handling system.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in revenue or yield management, preferably in transport or shipping.
• Strong analytical mindset, confident decision‑making and effective communication.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to work occasional early starts or late finishes on a rotational basis.
