Sales Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales Account Manager to join our client’s team in Kerry. The role is hybrid, combining outbound sales activities with digital engagement to grow and manage a portfolio of healthcare customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned customer portfolio through outbound sales activity and digital engagement.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities while developing existing accounts.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
• Conduct structured sales calls, identify customer needs, and progress opportunities effectively.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, tenders, and acquisitions within the healthcare sector.
• Manage customer contracts, renewals, subscriptions, and service agreements.
• Provide customer insights and feedback to support marketing initiatives and business growth.

Required profile

• 3+ years of sales, account management, or healthcare experience (desirable but not essential).
• Commercially aware with strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Adaptable, detail‑oriented and committed to continuous improvement and achieving targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Knowledge of SAP Business One (advantageous).

• Base salary €35,000‑€38,000 per year (OTE €50,000).
