About the role

The Sales Assistant role focuses on delivering an outstanding customer experience in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will engage with shoppers, share product knowledge, and ensure every visit is positive and memorable.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to all customers, prioritising their needs.
  • Handle customer queries efficiently and in line with store policy.
  • Maintain store presentation by merchandising shelves to the highest standards.
  • Embrace new initiatives and adapt to evolving ways of working.
  • Uphold Centra’s brand values – Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, Community‑Based.

Required profile

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy setting.
  • Customer‑driven attitude with a passion for service.
  • Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
