Sales Executive

About the role

Join the sales team at Sheraton Athlone Hotel, one of Ireland's leading conference and events destinations. You will be responsible for driving new business and nurturing existing client relationships to promote the hotel’s conference, meeting and leisure facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and grow key accounts.
• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities across corporate, conference and event segments.
• Meet clients on site, conduct tours and showcase the hotel’s facilities.
• Represent Sheraton Athlone at networking and industry events.
• Follow up enquiries, convert leads into confirmed bookings and manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote the hotel and stay updated on market trends.
• Work with internal departments to ensure an exceptional client experience.

Required profile

• A natural relationship‑builder with a passion for meeting new people.
• Ambitious, proactive and driven to achieve sales targets.
• Confident communicator, comfortable making cold calls and starting conversations.
• Organised, results‑focused and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Commercially minded with a genuine interest in sales and business development.

Required skills

• Salesforce (experience using CRM to manage relationships and track opportunities).
