Sales Executive (SDR) – Critical Communications Technology

About the role
This is a pure new‑business, hunter‑style Sales Executive role focused on critical communications technology. You will generate conversations, uncover operational challenges and introduce organisations to solutions that keep people safe and operations running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Build, manage and convert your own pipeline across targeted sectors within your territory.
- Engage prospects with a consultative, problem‑solving approach, mapping real‑world challenges to the right solutions.
- Develop strong, credible relationships at all levels to position the company as a trusted partner.
- Respond quickly to inbound leads to maximise conversion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and a great customer experience.
- Produce accurate forecasts, reports and CRM updates to support business planning.
- Share customer insights to help shape product and service development.
Required profile
- 2+ years’ experience selling communications technology, systems solutions or similar.
- Proven track record of winning new business and meeting sales targets.
- Strong technical understanding and excellent IT proficiency.
- Self‑motivated, disciplined and comfortable working autonomously.
- Confident communicator with excellent cold‑calling, qualification and appointment‑setting skills.
- Strong numerical, verbal reasoning and presentation abilities.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is a plus.

- CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce)
