Sales Manager

About the role

Our client is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and expand their Cork‑based sales team. This is a hands‑on, player‑coach position where you will both drive your own sales pipeline and develop a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and close deals while meeting personal sales targets.
• Lead, coach and manage the sales team to consistently exceed collective targets.
• Own a high‑value pipeline from lead generation through to close, while overseeing the team’s pipeline.
• Set, monitor and drive individual and team sales KPIs.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor and develop sales team members, conducting regular coaching and performance reviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and accounts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Continuously improve sales processes, reporting and forecasting, ensuring accurate CRM records.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales (inside sales, telesales, business development, etc.) with proven team leadership.
• Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Demonstrated success in leading high‑volume, target‑driven sales teams.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
• Player‑coach mentality – comfortable meeting personal targets while developing others.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
