SAP BTP Architect

About the role

We are seeking a senior SAP BTP Architect to lead the design and implementation of end‑to‑end SAP Business Technology Platform solutions for a retail‑focused transformation program. The role bridges business strategy and technology, ensuring scalable, secure, and high‑performance architectures that support real‑time commerce and omnichannel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document comprehensive SAP BTP architectures aligned with enterprise and retail business strategies.
• Design extension, integration, analytics, and automation solutions using SAP BTP services while adhering to SAP Clean Core principles.
• Develop reference architectures, standards, and governance frameworks for cloud deployments.
• Lead integration initiatives across SAP S/4HANA Retail, SAP CAR, e‑commerce platforms, POS, WMS, logistics, CRM, marketing, and third‑party applications using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, OData, Event Mesh, and CPI.
• Manage BTP sub‑accounts, environments, security settings, and platform standards, including deployment, monitoring, disaster recovery, and performance strategies.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, solution architects, and implementation partners to translate requirements into technical roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation and transformation projects.

Required profile

• 8+ years of SAP experience with 3–5 years focused on SAP BTP architecture.
• Proven experience on multiple SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects.
• Background in retail, consumer products, or omnichannel commerce environments.
• Demonstrated leadership in enterprise architecture and stakeholder engagement.
