SAP BTP Architect – Retail

About the role

The SAP BTP Architect – Retail will design, govern and deliver scalable cloud‑based solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform to enable retail digital transformation. The role bridges business and technology teams, ensuring seamless integration across SAP S/4HANA Retail, e‑commerce, POS, supply‑chain and partner systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define end‑to‑end SAP BTP architecture aligned with enterprise and retail strategies.
• Design extension, integration, analytics and automation solutions using SAP BTP services.
• Develop reference architectures, standards and governance frameworks following SAP Clean Core principles.
• Support high‑volume, real‑time retail processes such as merchandising, pricing, inventory, order management and omnichannel fulfilment.
• Lead integrations between SAP S/4HANA Retail, SAP CAR, e‑commerce platforms, POS, WMS, logistics, CRM and third‑party applications using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, OData, Event Mesh and middleware.
• Manage BTP sub‑accounts, environments, security, deployment, monitoring, disaster recovery and performance strategies.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product owners and implementation partners to translate requirements into technical roadmaps.

Required profile

• 8–15+ years of SAP experience, including 3–5+ years designing SAP BTP solutions.
• Proven experience on multiple SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects.
• Strong background in retail, consumer products or related domains.
• Ability to provide technical leadership during large‑scale transformation programs.
