SAP O2C Functional Architect

About the role

Deutsche Börse Group is seeking a seasoned SAP Order-to-Cash Functional Architect to join its Corporate IT team in Cork. The role will drive the design and evolution of end-to-end O2C processes on SAP S/4HANA, ensuring tight integration with Finance, Revenue Accounting and Reporting, Salesforce and Workday while meeting IFRS 15/ASC 606 compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead the SAP O2C architecture covering SAP SD, FI and RAR within S/4HANA.
• Define and govern integration patterns between SAP, Salesforce (lead‑to‑order) and Workday (financial processing).
• Design scalable billing, invoicing and revenue-recognition solutions, including performance obligations and contract modifications.
• Conduct requirements‑gathering workshops with Finance, Billing, Customer Operations and CRM stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into standard SAP configurations and cross‑system integrations.
• Support hybrid‑cloud initiatives using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for extensibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a functional architect or senior consultant in SAP Order-to-Cash.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end O2C flows and financial compliance (IFRS 15/ASC 606).
• Hands‑on experience integrating SAP SD with FI, RAR and external systems such as Salesforce and Workday.
• Ability to lead workshops and communicate complex designs to business and technical audiences.
