SAP Supply Chain and Logistics Manager

About the role

Cognex is seeking a strategic leader to shape, deliver, and support SAP capabilities across its global Supply Chain, Logistics, and Global Trade functions. The role combines deep SAP expertise with people leadership to drive scalable solutions that improve operational performance and service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Define and advance the SAP roadmap for global Supply Chain, Logistics, and Global Trade, aligning with business priorities and enterprise architecture.
• Lead delivery, enhancement, and support of SAP modules MM, PP, QM, PLM, LE, GTS, and IBP.
• Coach and develop a global SAP team, setting priorities, building capability, and ensuring delivery excellence.
• Act as trusted advisor to business and IT leaders on transformation initiatives and process modernization.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions and identify standardization opportunities.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and delivery teams on roadmap planning, future‑state design, and integration strategy.
• Manage vendors, system integrators, and offshore resources to ensure quality execution and cost performance.
• Maintain stable system operations, SLA performance, and conduct root‑cause analysis for complex issues.
• Lead SAP projects from planning through delivery, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget implementation with measurable business value.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in SAP supply chain and logistics environments.
• Proven people‑leadership skills with ability to coach and develop global teams.
• Strong track record delivering high‑quality solutions in complex, multinational settings.
• Ability to act as a strategic advisor to senior business and IT stakeholders.
