About the role
The Scanning Operator ensures that the store’s scanning systems run smoothly and accurately, providing timely information to management. This part‑time position is based in the Erne Hill store, supporting daily retail operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain scanning equipment to guarantee efficient checkout processes.
- Print daily reports, verify product information and pricing, and take corrective actions when needed.
- Manage pricing and set‑up in‑store promotions, ensuring correct cost prices for local suppliers.
- Back up system data each day and maintain accurate product records.
- Attend required training sessions and apply new knowledge on the shop floor.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work flexibly in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
