About the role
The University College Cork Library is seeking a Scholarly Communications Librarian to join its Research Services Team. This role will be central to advancing open research at the university, ensuring that world‑class research is openly accessible and that researchers meet funder and institutional requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the library’s scholarly communications function.
- Drive the ongoing development of the Cork Open Research Archive (CORA).
- Oversee UCC’s IReL Open Access agreements.
- Lead the development of “UCC Journals”, a Diamond Open Access publishing programme.
- Collaborate with researchers, IT Services, and the Office of the Vice‑President for Research & Innovation.
- Provide leadership within the Research Services team.
