About the role
Padua College is seeking a full‑time Science Teacher for its Mornington Campus starting in Term 3. The position is ongoing and part of a contemporary Catholic secondary co‑educational environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess science lessons for secondary students.
- Collaborate with Learning Leaders, Assistant Heads and Deputy Principals to develop curriculum.
- Contribute to pastoral care and student wellbeing initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Required profile
- Relevant teaching qualification and registration.
- Commitment to Catholic values and the college’s core principles.
- Ability to inspire a love of learning and support diverse learners.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of secondary science curriculum (chemistry knowledge advantageous).
- Effective classroom management and assessment techniques.

- Salary range $79,589 – $118,063 per annum (CEMEA 2022) plus 12% superannuation.
