Security Crew – Dublin

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Security Crew member to join Generator Dublin’s security team. You will help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff in our vibrant hostel and bar.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Security Manager/Supervisor and maintain a professional image at all times.
• Respond to emergency calls via radio and take appropriate action.
• Patrol public areas, guest floors, work zones and exterior spaces, noting any security breaches or safety hazards.
• Record findings and follow company policies for corrective actions.
• Investigate guest and staff accidents, complete incident reports and communicate with management.
• Enforce fire, health and safety procedures and verify age compliance for bar service.
• Accurately perform End‑of‑Day procedures each shift.

Required profile

• Ability to work quickly in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
• Solution‑oriented with a hands‑on attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and a people‑focused approach.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Eligibility to work in the EU.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of fire, health and safety regulations.
• Experience operating a two‑way radio and completing incident documentation.
