Security Program Analyst – Contract to Hire (Dublin)

About the role

Our client, a global technology organisation, is looking for a Security Program Analyst to join their Application Security team in Dublin. This contract‑to‑hire position offers a hybrid working model (three days onsite) and focuses on supporting secure software development programmes through data analysis, reporting and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse programme data and produce reports, dashboards and performance metrics.
• Create insights that drive security programme improvements and measure success.
• Support day‑to‑day operations of application security initiatives.
• Coordinate activities across security, engineering and programme stakeholders.
• Maintain programme documentation, reporting and operational processes.
• Assist with communications, training activities and security awareness initiatives.
• Monitor programme KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with technical teams or technology‑focused programmes.
• Foundational understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, secure software practices and common application security concepts such as OWASP Top 10.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, Domo or Tableau.
