Senior Accountant – Practice (County Kildare)

About the role

We are seeking a Qualified Senior Accountant to join a leading accountancy and business advisory practice in County Kildare. The role will involve working directly with the Lead Partner on a diverse portfolio of SME clients, providing high‑visibility financial and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory financial statements for SMEs in line with FRS 102/105.
• Provide strategic advisory on cash flow, growth and business planning.
• Prepare and file Corporation Tax, Income Tax and VAT returns.
• Review and mentor junior staff and trainees.
• Manage day‑to‑day client relationships and ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA).
• 2–3 years experience in an Irish accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP and tax compliance.
• Familiarity with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or CCH (advantage).
