Senior Accountant – Wexford

About the role

Our client, a global manufacturing organisation, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Wexford. The role works closely with the Financial Controller and Managing Director, providing financial insight and supporting budgeting, costing and reporting across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Perform product costing, sales reporting and margin analysis.
• Manage credit, cash‑flow oversight and ensure IFRS, VAT and statutory compliance.
• Support commercial and operational teams with financial analysis and decision‑making.
• Develop financial presentations for local and group leadership.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong background in financial control, management accounting and commercial finance.
• Proven experience in manufacturing or operational environments is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and banks.

Required skills

• ERP systems experience – Dynamics NAV or Oracle (or similar).
