Senior Associate – Cloud Security (Microsoft Solutions)

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Cyber Security & Privacy practice in Dublin. You will work with clients to design, implement and optimise Microsoft‑based security solutions that protect their cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and deploy Microsoft security solutions such as Microsoft 365 Security, Microsoft Purview, MS Entra, Azure Security Center and Microsoft Defender.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses, delivering remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into effective security strategies.
• Provide expert guidance on Microsoft security best practices and relevant industry standards.
• Develop and deliver client‑focused training sessions and workshops.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging Microsoft security technologies, threat trends and incorporate them into solution designs.
• Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment and recovery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft security technologies.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Information Protection Administrator, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator or Microsoft Security Operations Analyst.
• Proven record of delivering complex Microsoft security projects in a consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, network security, authentication and access control.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, GDPR, HIPAA).
