Senior Associate Director, Client Trade Operations (12 months)

About the role

MUFG Investor Services, a division of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, is hiring a Senior Associate Director for Client Trade Operations on a 12-month contract in Dublin. You will act as a key strategic partner in delivering service to clients, overseeing day-to-day operations and project delivery while driving operational excellence, process improvement and team leadership. The role reports to the Executive Director.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary escalation point for operational and client matters, resolving issues and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee fund account onboarding and maintenance, including AML/KYC requirements and ongoing account management.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of capital calls, fund-related payments and corporate actions in line with client and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee client, regulatory and custodian reporting, ensuring quality and adherence to agreed deadlines.
• Manage operational risk by identifying control gaps, improving processes and ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
• Lead, develop and mentor team members, and partner with clients, custodians, technology teams and other stakeholders to support business priorities.
• Drive efficiency through process optimisation, automation and system enhancements.
• Support and lead strategic projects such as business change, system testing, process updates, training and implementation.

Required profile

• Post-secondary education in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Ideally recognised Fund Services or professional qualifications.
• At least 6 years of experience in Fund Services, with exposure to fund trading, investor account openings, AML/KYC and project delivery.
• At least 2 years in a management role.
