Senior Associate – Life Actuarial Services

About the role

PwC Ireland is seeking a motivated Senior Associate to join its Life Actuarial Services team in Dublin. You will work with leading insurance brands, delivering high‑quality actuarial analysis and supporting clients across the life insurance and reinsurance market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop self‑awareness and coach junior staff, delegating tasks to provide stretch opportunities.
• Apply critical thinking to structure and solve unstructured problems.
• Extract insights from industry trends using a broad range of tools and techniques.
• Review work for quality, accuracy and relevance, both your own and that of others.
• Communicate analysis and insights to clients in clear, plain English.
• Uphold PwC’s code of ethics and business conduct.

Required profile

• Qualified actuary with at least 3 years of experience in the life insurance or reinsurance market, either in consultancy or industry.
• Experience with Solvency II and/or financial reporting is essential.
• Familiarity with the Irish life (re)insurance market is an advantage.
• Proven ability to build strong client relationships and mentor junior staff.
