Senior Associate - Tax

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our tax team within William Fry LLP. Reporting to the Head of Tax/Tax Partners, you will work in a hybrid model to advise a blue‑chip client base on a wide range of tax matters, from complex transactions to ongoing queries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, solution‑oriented tax advice to domestic and international clients across sectors such as financial services, real estate, technology and energy.
• Handle complex corporate tax transactions and respond to routine tax queries.
• Collaborate with lawyers, accountants and consultants to deliver technically robust advice.
• Support the development of junior team members and contribute to the firm’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• CTA qualified with an excellent academic record; additional qualification (e.g., accountant or solicitor) is a plus.
• Significant experience in corporate tax, preferably within a large firm or comparable environment.
• Strong analytical, drafting and interpersonal skills with a commercial, client‑focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, both in‑office and remotely.
