Senior Associate – Tax

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our tax team within a leading Irish corporate law firm. You will work on a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients, delivering pragmatic tax solutions across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advice on complex transactions and day‑to‑day client queries.
• Serve blue‑chip clients in financial services, real estate, retail, technology, communications, construction, energy, and entertainment.
• Deliver solution‑oriented, technically robust advice while maintaining commercial focus.
• Collaborate with lawyers, accountants and consultants to ensure integrated service delivery.
• Support the professional development of junior team members.

Required profile

• Experience working in a top‑tier law firm, large accounting practice, boutique tax firm or in‑house tax function.
• Excellent academic record and CTA qualification; additional professional qualification (e.g., accountant or solicitor) is a plus.
• Significant experience in corporate tax, preferably within a large firm.
• Strong analytical, drafting and interpersonal skills with a client‑service mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, both on‑site and remotely.
