Senior Audit Accountant – Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Audit Accountant to join a leading audit and accounting firm in Dublin. This permanent position offers a hybrid working model and strong upward career progression for a part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant with solid audit experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments across a variety of industries and markets.
• Assist in audit planning, including staffing and deadline management.
• Participate in client audit planning and closing meetings.
• Prepare financial statements and produce high‑quality work papers.
• Complete audit files and ensure timely delivery of assignments.
• Support the training and development of junior staff.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified (ACA/ACCA) or recently qualified accountant.
• Minimum of 3 years of practice experience in audit.
• Strong technical ability and experience in accounts preparation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
• A clear ambition to develop a long‑term career in practice.
