Senior Backend Monetization Engineer

About the role

Feeld is seeking a Senior Backend Monetization Engineer to join its remote team. You will design, build, and operate the backend systems that power the company’s revenue‑generating experiences, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and performant at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own the health of the monetisation funnel, guaranteeing reliability and performance of subscription, billing, and pricing services.
• Design and maintain scalable backend systems for subscriptions, entitlements, promotional mechanics, and pricing logic.
• Minimise revenue‑impacting incidents by improving detection, resolution, and overall system observability.
• Support rapid experimentation through feature flags, testing frameworks, and analytics instrumentation.
• Collaborate with the Data team to build analytics and reporting that surface revenue performance and system health.

Required profile

• Extensive experience building backend services that handle high‑throughput, business‑critical workloads such as payments or subscriptions.
• Proficiency with databases, APIs, and ensuring data integrity and security in production.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non‑technical partners.
• Curiosity and systems‑thinking mindset, balancing technical excellence with business impact.
