Senior Business Analyst – Strategic Project

About the role

We are partnering with the Northern Ireland Assembly to deliver a high‑impact, fixed‑term strategic project. As a Senior Business Analyst you will lead digital transformation initiatives, analyse complex business challenges and help modernise a key public‑sector organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex ICT projects, managing suppliers, stakeholders and ensuring milestones are met.
• Conduct strategic analysis to identify development opportunities, model processes and provide data‑driven recommendations to senior decision‑makers.
• Oversee the full solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation and post‑go‑live support.
• Support finance and HR process improvements by analysing and redesigning core applications.

Required profile

• Immediate availability until at least 31 December 2026.
• Level 6 (2:2) degree in Computing/Information Management with ≥3 years relevant experience, or Level 3 (A‑Level) with ≥5 years experience.
• Current PRINCE2 or PMI Agile Practitioner certification, or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Proven experience managing IT projects >£200 k budget and serving 200+ users.
• Ability to complete a Basic Assess NI check.
