Senior Community Moderator

About the role

The HubSpot Community Team is looking for a Senior Community Moderator to help create a vibrant, self‑service environment where users can get help, share knowledge and connect with each other. You will work closely with other Community Managers to scale the network of experts and drive strategic growth of the community.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily moderation across multiple HubSpot community forums, ensuring high‑quality interactions and timely support.
• Update and manage community content, run programs and projects, and produce performance reports.
• Leverage AI tools to improve engagement, support, and overall community management.
• Identify, recruit and nurture external subject‑matter experts to expand the Champions program.
• Handle escalations that cannot be resolved within the community, including product errors and service frustrations.
• Lead or support community initiatives, coordinating communication, stakeholders and enrollment.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of community processes.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive, self‑starter attitude.
• Ability to build relationships, manage expectations and flag roadblocks for escalation.
• Leadership qualities and experience driving change‑management initiatives.
• Curiosity and a passion for learning new technical and non‑technical skills quickly.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the HubSpot platform and community tools.
