Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & AI Architecture

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our AI team in Dublin. You will design, build and operate cloud‑native platforms that power AI‑driven systems and data pipelines across a global enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure for AI and data workloads.
• Architect secure, resilient, high‑performance distributed systems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild and CodeDeploy.
• Own Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation and drive automation‑first delivery.
• Work with container (ECS, Docker) and serverless (Lambda) architectures.
• Design and optimise data pipelines supporting machine‑learning workloads.
• Implement security controls, IAM governance and compliance standards.
• Develop disaster‑recovery, high‑availability and resilience strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, data‑science and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and distributed system design.
• Proven DevOps background including CI/CD, automation and IaC.
• Excellent Python and Bash scripting abilities.
• Experience with containers (Docker, ECS) and/or serverless (Lambda).
• Solid knowledge of security, IAM and enterprise cloud best practices.
• Ability to operate at both hands‑on engineering and architectural levels.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
