Senior Director Brand and Content

About the role

This senior leadership role is focused on shaping brand identity, driving content excellence, and building high‑performing creative teams within a fast‑growing B2B SaaS environment. You will establish and lead a brand, content, and creative function from the ground up, aligning brand initiatives with revenue objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the overall brand strategy, positioning, messaging framework, and visual identity.
• Build and scale a modern content function that produces editorial content, thought‑leadership pieces, and demand‑generation assets.
• Establish and manage an in‑house creative organization covering design, copywriting, video, and multimedia production.
• Develop AI‑powered workflows that combine automation with human expertise to improve speed, scalability, and quality.
• Partner with product, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment with go‑to‑market priorities.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop senior‑level talent while fostering a culture of innovation.
• Oversee external agencies, freelancers, and strategic partners, managing budgets and resources.
• Define and monitor performance metrics related to brand awareness, content effectiveness, and business outcomes.

Required profile

• 12+ years of progressive experience in brand, content, or creative leadership, with significant B2B SaaS exposure.
• 5+ years of experience leading and scaling teams, including hiring and developing senior talent.
• Strong understanding of SaaS go‑to‑market strategies, buyer journeys, demand generation, product marketing, lifecycle marketing, and sales enablement.
• Proven success in building marketing functions, processes, and operational frameworks from scratch.
