Senior Director of Cybersecurity

About the role
The Senior Director of Cybersecurity reports to the CIO and leads a risk‑based cybersecurity program that protects company assets while enabling innovation, international growth, and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, standards and policies.
- Oversee security architecture, threat management, vulnerability management, cyber resilience and incident response.
- Lead internal cybersecurity teams, contractors and global security professionals.
- Manage relationships with managed security service providers, MDR providers, penetration testing firms and other consultants.
- Establish governance processes, reporting mechanisms and executive dashboards for the CIO, General Counsel and Cybersecurity Risk Committee.
- Support adoption of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and CIS Controls.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in cybersecurity within a large, multi‑national organization.
- Experience working with executive leadership, legal, privacy, infrastructure and application development stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop security professionals globally.
