Senior Director of Global HR

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Director of Global HR to own and scale the people function for a fast‑growing aviation business operating in Dublin and the United States. Reporting directly to the COO, you will partner with senior leadership to embed HR strategy, modernise processes and protect the company culture as the organisation expands globally.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a global HR strategy aligned with rapid growth ambitions.
• Lead end‑to‑end HR operations, including payroll, talent acquisition, talent management and employee relations across Ireland and the US.
• Drive system and process change initiatives to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Provide strategic counsel to the COO and senior leadership on people‑related decisions.
• Ensure HR policies reflect both Irish and US employment legislation.

Required profile

• 10+ years of HR experience with a proven track record in global payroll, talent management and recruiting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale HR transformation projects.
• Strong commercial mindset and experience working in a PE‑backed environment.
• Excellent partnership skills with senior executives.
