Senior Financial Accountant – Shared Services (Dublin)

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join a multinational group's shared services function in Dublin. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, Tax & Compliance, you will own statutory financial reporting and tax compliance across multiple entities while working in a hybrid model (three days onsite).
Key responsibilities
- Lead preparation and review of statutory financial statements under IFRS/FRS 102, ensuring compliance with regulatory and group reporting requirements.
- Manage end‑to‑end tax compliance (corporation tax and indirect taxes) for ROI and UK/NI entities, coordinating with external advisors.
- Prepare tax computations, reconciliations and disclosures for inclusion in financial statements and group reporting.
- Support and coordinate the annual audit process, acting as the primary contact for auditors on tax and statutory matters.
- Maintain and enhance financial controls and governance processes across reporting cycles.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives, including tax and reporting digitisation projects.
- Partner with internal finance stakeholders and wider business functions to meet reporting and compliance needs.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 3‑5+ years post‑qualification experience in financial reporting or audit.
- Strong experience in statutory reporting and working knowledge of tax compliance (not advisory).
- Familiarity with IFRS/FRS 102, Companies Act requirements and multi‑entity environments.
- Exposure to Irish and UK tax compliance frameworks is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
