About the role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Accounts Manager to lead the preparation and review of management accounts for our retail clients in County Cork. The role combines detailed financial analysis with team leadership to drive margin improvement and cost reduction.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review management accounts, investigating gross‑margin variances and developing action plans.
- Evaluate and implement effective internal controls.
- Manage working capital and provide full financial control services to clients.
- Lead, train and supervise a team of accountants and trainee accountants.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CPA) with at least 3 years’ practice experience.
- Proficient in all aspects of accounts preparation.
- Comfortable presenting financial analysis to clients and recommending operational improvements.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Competent IT skills and ability to train staff.
- Understanding of the retail sector is advantageous.
