Senior Financial Planning Analyst (12‑Month Contract)

About the role

Lilly is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Reporting team at its Kinsale manufacturing site. This 12‑month contract role will partner with business units to support financial commitments, drive analysis, and ensure accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for financial queries, providing analysis and business cases to support decision‑making.
• Own the monthly and quarterly financial close, prepare account reconciliations and metrics packs.
• Develop and maintain product costing, including standard cost creation and annual revisions.
• Manage inventory SOX controls, support internal and external audits, and ensure continuous compliance.
• Contribute to the annual business plan, strategic plan, and quarterly forecasts.
• Represent finance in governance meetings and influence productivity initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA) with at least 1 year post‑qualification experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a solutions‑focused attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Natural curiosity and drive to improve processes.
