Senior Fire & Security Systems Engineer – Ireland

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fire & Security Systems Engineer to join a client’s team in Ireland. The role is field‑based, based in Carlow, with travel across the country to install, commission and maintain security and fire systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, service, maintain, repair and upgrade CCTV, access control, intruder alarm, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults on site.
• Manage projects and workloads independently.
• Provide guidance and support to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
• Deliver client demonstrations and technical support.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the fire and security industry.
• Electronic Security Systems qualification or Electrical Craft Certificate (QQI Level 6 or equivalent preferred).
• Strong problem‑solving and fault‑finding abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Salary €40,000 – €60,000 per year, dependent on experience.
