Senior General Ledger Accountant

About the role

Trinseo is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join its global business service centre in Ireland. The role focuses on the preparation of general accounting and financial reporting activities for assigned entities, ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute entity accounting activities, including GL closing, journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany recharge and lease processing.
• Prepare statutory reporting, compliance documentation, and support related audits.
• Develop quarterly bridges between US GAAP and local GAAP, corporate tax provisions and variance analyses.
• Maintain ledgers within SAP, improve related processes, and respond promptly to stakeholder information requests.
• Support annual US GAAP audit processes and periodic indirect tax return reviews.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls (SOX) and meet established deadlines.
