Senior Group Accountant

About the role

We are a well‑established, Irish‑owned group seeking a Senior Group Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Group Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the financial health of our non‑core subsidiaries and driving group‑wide accounting initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting for non‑core subsidiaries, ensuring accurate statutory reporting and audit coordination.
• Lead management accounting and budgeting processes across the group.
• Develop financial models and projections to support strategic decisions.
• Oversee tax compliance for the group.
• Drive systems implementation and process‑improvement projects.
• Assist with potential acquisitions, including due‑diligence support.
• Travel internationally to European subsidiaries as required.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA).
• Strong Excel proficiency.
• Experience in a large or multinational finance environment is advantageous.
• Background in consolidation accounting is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
