About the role
This senior HR Generalist position sits within a small, cross‑functional HR team of an international corporate services organisation operating in Ireland. The role combines people‑focused activities with operational HR responsibilities, offering exposure to a wide range of initiatives during a period of organisational change.
Key responsibilities
- Attend regular stakeholder meetings and build effective relationships across the business.
- Advise managers on performance management, absence handling and employee‑relations issues.
- Support employee‑engagement and culture programmes.
- Assist talent and succession planning activities as required.
- Administer the learning management system and promote development within teams.
- Shadow a senior HR colleague on business‑partnering and handle ER cases.
- Maintain HR system records and ensure data accuracy throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Collaborate with group counterparts on HR data quality and routine reporting.
- Develop and improve reporting outputs for senior leadership and regulatory purposes.
- Manage Fitness & Probity activities, including register management and certification.
- Identify process‑improvement and automation opportunities across HR systems.
- Participate in ad‑hoc HR projects.
Required profile
- 3–4 years of broad HR experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proven ability to partner with multiple stakeholders across a large organisation.
- Strong curiosity about data and the ability to interpret reports.
- Excellent organisational, communication and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Comfortable managing relationships at all levels and working both independently and in a team.
- Proactive, continuous‑improvement mindset with experience using an HRIS.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience with HRIS platforms.
