Senior Human Resources Business Partner

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join a high‑performing organisation. This generalist position blends day‑to‑day HR operations with strategic partnership, supporting site leadership and aligning people strategies with business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner to senior leadership and site management, providing expert guidance.
- Collaborate with the Global Senior Leadership Team to ensure consistent HR initiatives across sites.
- Manage performance‑management processes and oversee accurate payroll administration.
- Prepare employment contracts, maintain employee records, and handle the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, access cards, off‑boarding).
- Lead benchmarking initiatives and support annual salary reviews.
- Run and analyse headcount reports to aid workforce planning.
- Partner on employee engagement, retention, and talent‑development programmes.
- Develop graduate and internship programmes as part of the talent pipeline.
- Advise the Site Director with commercial insight on HR matters.
- Understand operational cycles (batch processing, production) to align HR strategies with staffing needs.
- Support M&A activities where required.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist.
- Background in a fast‑paced, commercially‑focused environment (medical devices or manufacturing is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of payroll, employment contracts, benchmarking and performance management.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret business drivers and resourcing needs.
- Experience supporting global teams or multinational leadership.
- Exposure to M&A activities is advantageous.
- Confident stakeholder partnership, especially with senior operational leaders.
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
- Highly organised with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
