About the role

Our client, a leading organisation in the energy sector, is expanding rapidly and seeks a high‑performing Senior Inside Sales Executive to join their Cork team. This role offers a clear pathway to a Sales Manager position within 24 months, providing the chance to develop leadership skills while driving revenue in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
• Maintain a high‑volume pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships to ensure an exceptional experience.
• Accurately record all activities in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver seamless service.
• Support, mentor, and coach junior team members as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in inside sales, telesales, business development or a similar role.
• Proven track record of meeting and surpassing sales targets.
• Experience in a high‑volume, target‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and ambition to move into management.
