Senior Internal Auditor

About the role
We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join Utmost’s internal audit team. The role involves leading risk‑based audits, working closely with senior management and the Board, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute and oversee risk‑based internal audits from start to finish, including fieldwork, reporting and closure.
- Prepare Audit Committee packs, engage directly with senior management and present audit findings to the Board of Directors.
- Evaluate fraud risk, verify adherence to internal policies and monitor regulatory changes such as Solvency II and DORA.
Required profile
- Professional accounting or auditing qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIA).
- 2‑5+ years of experience in internal audit, external audit or risk assurance, preferably within a regulated financial services or life‑insurance environment.
- Strong knowledge of insurance operations and relevant regulations, including Solvency II and DORA.
