Senior Manager - Legal Counsel

About the role
BioMarin is seeking a Senior Manager – Legal Counsel to join its Dublin legal team. This hybrid position (2‑3 days onsite) offers a junior lawyer the chance to develop a broad range of in‑house pharmaceutical legal skills across commercial, corporate, manufacturing and operational matters.
Key responsibilities
- Triaging and responding to legal queries from the Contracts Associates team.
- Managing the legalization, apostilling, notarising and submission of corporate documents.
- Supporting departmental projects such as template updates and legal functional support.
- Providing legal advice on commercial, corporate, tax, pricing, manufacturing, real‑estate and operating issues outside the U.S.
- Collaborating with the Executive Director, Head of EUCAN Legal and the Dublin‑based legal team.
Required profile
- Qualified lawyer with a strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Tenacious, quick learner, and willing to take on diverse challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high‑performing, agile global legal function.
Required skills
- Contract drafting and review.
- Legal research.
- Document legalization, apostilling and notarising.
- Project management.
