Senior Manufacturing Bioprocess Associate – Operations

About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manufacturing Bioprocess Associate to provide operational support for shop‑floor activities of the Late Stage and Launch Pipeline at our new state‑of‑the‑art single‑use biotechnology facility in Dunboyne. This is a site‑based, 24/7 shift role focused on delivering high‑quality biopharmaceutical products.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end production operations for both fed‑batch and continuous manufacturing.
• Operate equipment in accordance with electronic batch records, sampling plans and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and compliance culture on site.
• Assist in authoring electronic batch records, sampling plans, work instructions and SOPs.

Required profile

• Level 7 qualification in a science or engineering discipline (preferred) or Level 6 with at least 2 years GMP manufacturing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and practical problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with contamination control, batch release requirements and both upstream and downstream unit operations for mAb manufacturing.
• Understanding of continuous and batch‑fed manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV, PAS‑X and automation in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with single‑use technologies and end‑to‑end single‑use facilities.
• Commissioning and qualification experience.
