Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Associate to lead M&E activities for a project supporting Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection in Ireland and to contribute to the Mission’s overall M&E framework.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee monitoring and evaluation plans for the BOTP project.
• Collect, analyse and report data to assess project performance and impact.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with IOM M&E protocols.
• Support the Mission’s broader M&E requirements and provide technical guidance to staff.
• Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Development, Law, International Relations or a related field with at least four years of relevant experience, or high‑school qualification with six years of experience.
• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation within an international or non‑governmental setting.
• Strong work ethic, ability to follow procedures and work both independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English (official IOM language).

Required skills

• Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation tools and protocols.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Publisher.
• Attention to detail and strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
