Senior .NET Core Developer – Distributed Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced .NET Core developer to join a fast‑growing technology team in Ireland. The role focuses on designing, building and integrating secure, scalable platforms that support complex enterprise environments. You will work on cutting‑edge distributed systems and collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise‑grade applications using .NET Core and modern software engineering practices.
• Build and model APIs and integrations across multiple platforms, employing REST, GraphQL, gRPC and OpenAPI standards.
• Develop event‑driven components using technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis or Pub/Sub.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, domain‑driven design and system modeling initiatives.
• Implement security‑focused platform components, including control planes and policy‑driven workflows.
• Ensure reliability, failure handling, monitoring and operational readiness of distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to continuously improve development practices and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on architecture and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure, scalable APIs and platforms.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and experience working in complex enterprise environments.
