Senior Process Operator / Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Process Operator / Technician to join a global energy company's manufacturing and process facility. The position involves operating and controlling process units, as well as managing liquid movement and storage on a rotating continuous‑shift basis.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and control continuous process units, ensuring optimal performance.
• Monitor levels, temperatures, and pressures across various units.
• Manage liquid movement and storage safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine operator tasks and respond to alarms or deviations.
• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety and Environment standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in process plant operation or a related continuous‑process industry.
• Post‑leaving‑certificate education in Process Controls, Process Engineering, Engineering Technology, Marine Officer training, or an apprenticeship in a technical trade.
• Relevant certifications in process plant operation, oil processing, or marine operations.
• Strong commitment to HSE best practices.

Required skills

• Operation of process units and continuous‑process equipment.
• Monitoring of levels, temperatures, and pressures.
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and SCADA.
• Process plant operation and oil processing knowledge.
• Marine operations or engineering experience (preferred).
