Senior Procurement Director, Sugar EMEA

About the role

The Senior Procurement Director for Sugar in the EMEA region leads the Cross‑Enterprise Procurement Group (CEPG) to develop and execute end‑to‑end sourcing strategies for the Coca‑Cola system. This senior position manages a regional spend of roughly $2.3 bn, aligning the Company, company‑owned bottlers and franchise bottlers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and implementation of sugar procurement strategies across The Coca‑Cola Company, owned bottling operations and franchise bottlers in EMEA.
• Conduct 7‑step sourcing events, negotiate contracts, and manage pricing, volume, terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Technical and System teams to align business priorities and achieve targets.
• Build sustainable supplier relationships that deliver long‑term value and support sustainability goals.
• Provide raw‑material cost forecasts to owned operations and bottlers for business planning.
• Participate in strategic expansion and investment discussions with key sugar suppliers.
• Lead the sugar category sustainability strategy in line with corporate principles.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading commodity procurement, preferably in agricultural commodities such as sugar.
• Proven track record managing multi‑billion‑dollar spend across a complex, multi‑entity network.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management capabilities at senior levels.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing, risk management and supply‑chain optimization initiatives.
• Experience influencing cross‑functional teams and aligning operating units and bottlers.
