Senior Project Manager – Hotel Refurbishment & Capital Projects

About the role

Our client, a leading hospitality group, is expanding its European hotel portfolio and needs a Senior Project Manager to lead refurbishment and capital investment programmes. Based in Dublin with hybrid working, the role will oversee projects across Ireland, the UK, Madrid and future sites in Amsterdam, Edinburgh and Berlin, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of hotel refurbishment and CapEx projects from feasibility through handover.
• Manage project scope, budgets, programmes, risk registers and delivery plans.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and suppliers, overseeing tendering and procurement.
• Conduct site inspections, progress meetings and ensure compliance with health, safety and building regulations.
• Maintain operational continuity in live hotel environments while delivering on time, on budget and to quality standards.
• Prepare project close‑out documentation, commissioning, snagging and operational handover.
• Report project performance, costs, timelines and risks to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience delivering refurbishment or capital projects in the hospitality sector.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with high emotional intelligence.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, operationally sensitive environments.
