Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead cross‑functional engineering projects within a regulated biotechnology manufacturing environment in Dublin. The role will oversee the delivery of complex capital and engineering programmes from initiation through to completion, ensuring they meet business objectives, quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex engineering projects, developing detailed plans, timelines, budgets and resource allocations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain and external EPCM partners.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, implement mitigation actions and manage scope, change controls and issue resolution.
• Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder updates and governance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety and other regulatory requirements.
• Track KPIs, capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
• Support vendor management and prepare executive‑level reports and presentations.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Eng. or equivalent).
• Minimum 12 years of post‑graduate engineering experience in aseptic/sterile processing design and start‑up environments.
• Proven experience delivering capital projects, facility upgrades or engineering programmes in pharmaceutical/biotechnology settings.
• Strong ability to manage cross‑functional teams and complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
