Senior Project Manager – Mortgage Technology

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead complex technology and regulatory projects within the mortgage sector, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timely delivery, and full regulatory compliance. You will act as the bridge between internal technical teams and external stakeholders, providing transparent, high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple project workstreams simultaneously, using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Oversee development, testing, and deployment of new systems and enhancements.
• Serve as the primary client contact, delivering updates and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate project planning, risk management, change control, and status reporting.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Develop project strategies aligned with organisational objectives and technology standards.
• Collaborate with Development and AWS managers, Risk and Compliance teams, and business stakeholders.
• Track benefits realisation and lead post‑implementation reviews.

Required profile

• 8+ years of project management experience in financial services or mortgage sector.
• Proven experience managing SDLC projects with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Strong background working with banking and mortgage institutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management up to Board level.
• Experience managing budgets, timelines, and dispersed teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Azure DevOps and MS Project.
